David & I - Nov. 2007
- I’m 53 and just now hitting my stride.
- Married to David–the man I waited 24+ years for
- Born-again, baptized in the Holy Spirit, disciple (follower) of Jesus who actively attempts to walk with Him 24/7
- A business woman. We own and manage Cedar Row Apartments, a 60+-year-old complex (14 buildings w/4 apts, 2 upstairs/2 downstairs).
- Healthy eater (well…most of the time, anyway)
- Bike rider/exerciser–although, I’m forever working on my consistency
- Singer/Songwriter/Musician/Worship Leader
- Recovering “Martha/Type A” who’s committed to learning how to stay in step with the unforced rhythms of His grace
- Avid Learner/Reader
- Politically incorrect
- Women’s basketball fan (college & WNBA)
- Developing chess player (Chesster_Sharon on chess.com)
- Budding blogger
My Passion
It wasn’t until recently (May, 2010) that I was able to clearly and precisely articulate (to David, at the time) my passion:
I want to encourage others to come to know and walk with the Lord like I do.
Can there be anything more exciting and fulfilling than that? 
This is my favorite pic of you I’ve ever seen!
But much more than that…I am in awe of everything you wrote above. You are a rock and together with David…….I pity the person/thing that ever tries to turn your head from your goals.
I love you both and am grateful to call you friends.
MY goal, in my heart of hearts is to be more like you and in turn be more like Jesus.

Dear David & Sharon,
Thank you so much for blessing us with the $25 check. God has used you to lighten our load. We got hit with a lot of medical expenses this year, but like you said, He is faithful! He has blessed us with a large family- 5 children with 1 on the way. Thank you once again for your special gift to our family. Check out our blog if you wish : ) Jessica
